Design
When the heroal VS Z sun protection system is fully retracted, it is not recognisable that the curtain wall profiles are fitted with sun protection. Even when lowered, heroal VS Z CS partly integrated is particularly aesthetically appealing, because with a face width of 25 mm, the use of two heroal GR 25 guide rails results in exactly the same face width of 50 mm as the heroal C 50 curtain wall system. As they have the same surface coating as the cover profiles, they are barely noticeable.
The aluminium components of heroal VS Z CS partly integrated are coated with the highly weather-resistant heroal hwr powder coating - for perfect colour uniformity with the heroal systems for windows, doors, sliding doors, curtain walls and and roofing systems. More than 250 different textiles in the standard portfolio offer greatest freedom of design. Elements up to 6 m wide, 5 m high and a maximum area of 18 m² can also be created with a small box. Optimum textile tensioning is achieved even with extreme dimensions thanks to various end strips. The heroal GR 25 guide rail with a 25 mm width is one of the narrowest guide rails on the market.
Fabrication
The post-transom curtain wall is already fitted with the integration profile during fabrication at the metal-working company, so that the curtain wall of a building can also be retrofitted with the heroal VS Z CS partly integrated sun protection system, if required. This also allows the curtain wall builder and sun protection installer to work independently of each other, which increases flexibility during the course of the project.
Sustainability
Sun protection systems ensure healthy living and working conditions, a pleasant indoor climate on hot days and savings on air-conditioning and heating costs, as the heat transfer can be individually regulated as required. heroal system solutions made of recycled aluminium and high-quality textiles are weather-resistant, and characterised by high material stability and extreme durability.
System compatibility
The design principle across different systems, the utilisation of standardised parts, the wide range of motorisation options and the well thought-out design details make fabrication particularly efficient and simple. Virtually identical dimensions lead to low storage costs thanks to the use of standardised parts. In addition, continuous panels on coupled elements reduce the number of components. Depending on requirements and capacity utilisation, the heroal VS Z can be ordered as a system item, textile assembly group or prefabricated element (heroal Ready). As heroal GR 25 can be used over the entire length of the curtain wall profile, curtain walls up to 5 metres high can also be equipped with heroal VS Z.
Comfort
heroal VS Z offers perfect protection against glare, prying eyes, UV radiation and heat. Thanks to the innovative zip technology, heroal VS Z is particularly stable in the guide rail and can withstand wind speeds of up to 145 km/h. In contrast to a rope or rail guide, there is no gap between the fabric and the window reveal, so that the heroal VS Z in combination with the heroal blackout textiles enables 100% room darkening. The heroal VS Z is controlled at the touch of a button via a radio remote control, manually via a button in the wall or via an app. The textile screen can also be integrated into smart home systems.
