Product details
heroal D 72 is a commercial and residential front door system offering functional versatility. It allows for numerous opening variants and ensures perfect values with regard to thermal insulation and sound protection. With the tested and certified heroal system, all standard opening variants can be created, incl. use on certified escape and emergency routes (acc. to German industry norm EN 179/1125), automatic door systems, doors with finger guards and burglary-resistant doors – also with escape door function.
In order to protect the interior of commercial and residential buildings from moisture damages and at the same time allow for front doors with fully accessible zero barrier, heroal has developed the drainage system heroal DS. Concealed by a high-grade stainless steel cover, the patented system returns accumulating surface water with a drainage capacity of up to 0.8 l/s, without any backing-up.
heroal door systems are suitable for all kinds of structural form and opening variant, offering you great flexibility in terms of design and function. Our bending and edging technology is unique in the industry. Individual elements with a pointed or round arch as well as other shapes can be created in an efficient way, meeting highest requirements on architectural design. For especially impressive entrance areas, doors with a maximum sash height of up to 3 m and a maximum width of up to 1.4 m can be created.

Highly weather resistant heroal hwr powder coatings are available in more than 500 RAL- and DB-colours with different gloss rates, and also in Eloxal looks and exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier shades. In addition, the innovative coating technology heroal Surface Design (SD) provides for surfaces with wood, concrete and rust looks. With door systems by heroal, like heroal D 72, both barrier-free solutions and ground-level zero-barriers can be created. Zero-barriers make it possible to pass through the entrance element unhindered. In combination with the drainage system heroal DS, heroal door systems offer flush threshold solutions according to the legal requirements laid out in the German industry norms DIN 18040-1 for public areas and DIN 18040-2 for barrier-free flats. That way, the interior is protected against moisture damages and the unhindered passing of the entrance area is guaranteed. The stainless steel cover is available in different design variants and stands out for its high-quality look and increased resistance against corrosion and acids.

Thanks to the innovative insulating strip geometry, providing for a reduced thermal conduction from inside to outside, and heroal‘s sealing technology with its modular design, best values in terms of thermal insulation and sound protection can be realised. As a result, heroal‘s residential and commercial front door system heroal D 72 achieves perfect thermal insulation values of Uf ≥ 0.96, and sound protection including sound insulation class 3.
