The heroal aluminum retractable screens are the perfect addition to the heroal aluminum roller shutter systems. They combine architectural and functional requirements perfectly, meeting the needs of constructors, architects, planners and main contractors.
Increasing requirements for outdoor shades such as high wind stability and shading of large glass surfaces, have furthered development, which allows an individual and efficient use of daylight.
To make optimum use of the sun, heroal developed the new and innovative option for creating partial and full shading with the heroal VS Z (zip screen).
The heroal VS Z zip-screen system can be made from a range of fabrics, ranging from translucent to opaque. Depending on the fabric, it can reduce solar radiation by up to 75% and UV rays by up to 98%, without a noticeable reduction in daylight.
Wind-resistant up to 90 mph, and tested in the wind tunnel of the Dresden Technical University, the zip-screen is also perfectly suited for use in rugged coastal regions.
heroal products are developed and manufactured exclusively in Germany. We only use the best aluminum alloys for our retractable screens and roller shutter systems. The high-quality powder coating and the double-layer thick coating ensure that our retractable screens are weather resistant and have a long service life.
During production, we make an active contribution to climate protection. We use recycled aluminum and only use water as a foaming agent for the foam filling in our roller shutter slats.
