An lifting-sliding door consists of at least one fixed element and one sash. When the sash is opened, it moves on running rails to its new position in front of the fixed element. A lifting-sliding door should have a passage width (clear width) of at least 90 cm, in order to provide for a convenient use. This means the complete lifting-sliding door should have a width of at least 1.8 m. Significantly smaller passage widths are not recommended.
